INDO-PARTHIANS. Tanlis Mardates and Rangodeme (Mid-late 1st century BC). AR Drachm (2.54 gm; 20 mm). Mint in Margiana or Sogdiana. Imitating drachms of Parthian king Phraates IV. Diademed bust left; behind, eagle left, crowing king with wreath / Archer seated right on throne, holding bow. Senior 199.2D; Sellwood 91.13; Shore 473; Sunrise 494var. (with no countermark). Well struck on a nice full flan. Choice VF. Lightly toned. Rare.
