SASANIAN KINGS. Shapur II, 309-379 AD. PB (Lead) unit (3.61 gm; 20 mm). Obverse, Shapur's bust turning right, a curved line in front of face (typically of issues minted in Sakistan), reverse, fire altar with attendants, figure in the altar, facing right. Well struck on a broad flan. Original find patina. Choice Good VF. Extremely rare type.
