SASANIAN KINGS, Yazdgird II, (438-457 AD). Æ (1.16 gm; 15 mm). Standard issue, obverse, Yazdgird bust with standard crown turning right, monogram of a star or a sun and a large dot above it in front of face, reverse, fire altar with attendants. Small scratch on the obverse field. Choice Good VF. Original green patina. Extremely rare.
