PARTHIA: MITHRADATES II (123-88 BCE) Silver drachm, Seleucia on the Tigris. Obverse: Bare-headed, bearded, diademed bust of king left, wearing ear-ring and torque, dotted border around. Reverse: King (Arsakes I?) seated right on omphalos, holding bow, Greek legend: at left, BAΣIΛEΩΣ, above: MEΓAΛOY, at right: APΣAKOY, below: EΠIΦANOYΣ, palm branch at right. (4gm, 22mm) Very Fine.
