SASANIAN EMPIRE, Circa 2nd-3rd. Century AD. Large Carnelian Stamp Seal (27mm x 18mm x 7mm). Man with Parthian hair style and woman with elaborate/Parthian (?) hair do facing each other with a star in between. no special crown or hat. Some minor chipping on reverse, otherwise excellent condition. Finest style and details. Extremely rare.
