SASANIAN EMPIRE. Circa 3rd-4th. Century AD. Agate Seal (2.91 gm; 22mm x 16mm x4mm). Text in Pahlavi and stylized calligraphy, "W-WRAShN(?)". Might be a reference to Pahlavi word VARChAN (some one who is highly skilled). Minor chip on the reverse, otherwise excellent condition.
