RESPUBLICA BERNENSIS, crowned city coat-of-arms within incuse oval / DOMINUS PROVIDEBIT, 1798 in exergue, cuirassed Swiss soldier standing left, head right, holding broadsword set on ground in right hand and left hand on hip; all within incuse oval. Lohner 192; Corragioni Tafel VIII, 117; Davenport 1760A; KM 164. Choice UNC. Nice old cabinet toning. Lovely example.
