SASANIAN KINGDOM. Queen Boran, 630-631 AD. AR Drachm (3.99 gm; 32 mm). SK (Sistan) mint, RY 2 = 630/1. Bust of Queen Boran to right, wearing elaborate crown with two wings and korymbos set on crescent; ribbon on her left shoulder, crescent and ribbon on her right; in outer margin, three star-in-crescent symbols. Rev. Fire altar with ribbons, flanked by two attendants; star and crescent flanking flames; to left, date; to right, name of the mint (both in Pahlawi); in outer margin, four star-in-crescent symbols.
