Lion and sun, one star to the left of the sun and two stars below the lion; citing the ʿAbbasid caliph al-Mustanṣir billāh (AH 623-640 / AD 1226-1242) above the sun. Rev. ‘al-sulṭān / al-aʿẓam / Kaykhusraw / ibn Kayqubād’ (‘the Great Sultan Kaykhusraw, son of Kayqubad’ in Arabic); Mint and date formula around. Album 1218. Choice EF. Lightly toned.
