THRACE, Lysimacheia. Circa 309-220 BC. Æ (11.32 gm; 24 mm). Obv: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin headdress; c/m: facing lion’s scalp within circular incuse Rev: Demeter standing right, holding long torch, c/m: Dolphin right. SNG Copenhagen 903-4 (with countermark). Couple of interesting countermarks on both obverse and reverse. Beautiful original green patina. Choice VF.
