EARLY SKYTHIANS, Imitating Eukratides I of Baktria. Late 2nd century BC. AR Obol (0.51 gm; 12 mm). Diademed and draped bust of Eukratides I to right, wearing crested Macedonian helmet adorned with bull's horn and ear. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ - EΥKΡATIΔOY Caps of the Dioskouroi, each with palm frond; below, monogram. HGC 12, 153; Senior A19.3. Minor porosity. Some original find patina. Choice Good VF.
