KUSHANO-SASANIAN KINGS, Peroz I Kushanshah (Circa AD 245-270). Gold Dinar (7.94 gm; 29 mm). Balkh mint. Peroz, nimbate, standing left, wearing lion headdress and sword, flames at shoulders, holding trident and sacrificing at altar; filleted trident to left, pellet to right of altar swastika between legs / Siva (resembling the king) standing facing, holding diadem and trident; behind, the bull Nandi standing left. ANS Kushan 2157-9; Carter 25; Cribb 2; MK 703; Donum Burns -; FPP fig. 74, 9; Sunrise 1016. Slightly double struck on reverse. Choice FDC. Fully lustrous. Perfect example for this issue. Rare this nice.
