Arab-Sasanian: Governor 'Ubayd Allah ibn Ziyad, AH 54-63 (AD 673-683), Silver AR Dirham (Drachm), Date: AH61, Mint: Basra. Obverse: Bust to right, the full name of the governor in Pahlavi legend. "bism allah", meaning in the name of God on the margin with other additional legends. Reverse: The usual Sasanian reverse with a fire alter in the centre with two attendants on both sides. (2.64gm, 28mm) Good Very Fine.
