CARIA, Mylasa. Geta, as Caesar. 198-209 AD. Æ Medallion (27.00 gm; 38 mm). PO CEPTI MIOC GETAC, bare-headed, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / MULACEWN tetrastyle temple of Zeus Labraundus, cult statue of the god within, holding labrys and spear; round shield with two supporters in pediment. BMC Caria pg. 133, 38; SNG Copenhagen 437; SNG von Aulock 2630; Price & Trell 442. Some light smoothing on the fields. Lovely strike on a nice full broad flan. Nicely centered. Choice Superb EF. Extremely Rare. Original find green-reddish patina.
