Description
Late Sasanian or Arab Sasanian, Circa 7th. century AD. Æ (0.57 gm; 15mm x 18mm). Obverse, Sasanian style bust turning right, illegible legend in front of face, imitation of GDH formula in the back of the crown, phrase APD at second quarter, reverse, prancing horse turning right, phrase "PYRWC"(?) meaning Pirooz (victorious) on the top. Brown reddish patina. Choice VF. Extremely rare.
