Description
TOKHARISTAN, Yabghus of Baktria. 6th-7th century. AR Drachm (4.05 gm; 31 mm). Obverse, Sasanian style bust right, wearing winged crown topped by a bull's head, Psuedo Pahlavi legends in front of face, reverse, standard fire-altar & attendants. Psuedo Pahlavi legends in place of mint and date. SG-265. Choice EF. Lightly toned. Very rare.
