BITHYNIA, Nicaea. Macrianus. Usurper, AD 260-261. Æ Reduced Octassarion (8.16 gm; 24 mm). Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / City-view seen from aerial perspective: city wall fronted and backed by main gate consisting of arched bay surmounted by four arched windows and flanked by two multi-storey towers; two additional towers on either side. Weiser, Nikaia 263; RG 867; SNG von Aulock 733. Well struck on a nice flan. Original dark green patina. Choice VF / EF. Rare.
