Description
ARAB-BYZANTINE (?). AR Suspension loop (0.91 gm; 22mm x 24 mm). Most likely minted in conquered Byzantine realm possibly in Syria and Eastern Mediterranean Sea. Obverse, Rashedoon Khalif style bust facing forward, with cross at hand, illegible text on the right and left side, reverse, Calvary cross potent on steps flanked by two Greek crosses, no mint or date. Original find patina. Choice Good VF. Rare.
