IRANIAN CIVIC COPPER SERIES, Late Safavid to early Afsharid era. Æ (18.32 gm; 24 mm). Obverse, peacock, reverse, fuluse-zarbe- Hamadan, date 1138 AH (1725 AD). This year coincides with the reign of symbolic Shah Tahmasp II (1722-1732 AD) but under the control of Nader Shah of Afsharid as Shah's commander in Chief and adminstrator of his fragmented Safavid empire.
