PERSIA, Qajar Dynasty, Naser al Din Shah. AH 1264-1313 (AD 1848-1896). AR Qeran (5.22 gm; 14 mm). Tabaristan mint, year 1266. This is two years after the Shah's coming to power and minted during the chancellorship of great Persian patriot, Mirza Taqi Khan-e Amir Kabir as grand vizir of Naser Al Din Shah (1264-1268 AH). Choice EF. Lightly toned.
