COL AVG TROAD Alexander the Great standing left, sacrificing over altar before statue of Apollo on low base to right, and holding scepter in left hand; above, eagle flying right, grasping bull's head in talons. Bellinnger A271. BMC 93. The reverse of this issue alludes to the alleged founding of the city by Alexander 'the Great'. Brown patina. Choice Fine.
