Description
ROMAN EMPIRE, Philip I. 244-249 AD. AR Antoninianus (4.33 gm; 23 mm). Struck 244-247 AD. Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right / Roma seated left, holding Victory and sceptre; shield at her side. RSC 169; RIC IV 44b. Well struck on a nice full flan. Choice Superb. Fully lustrous. Lightly toned.
