KINGS of ELYMAIS. Kamnaskires II Nikephoros, circa 147-139 BC. AR Tetradrachm (15.10 gm; 28 mm). Susa mint. Diademed head right; EA monogram behind / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΚΑΜΝΙΣΚΙΡΟΥ ΝΙΚΗΦΟΡΟΥ youthful god (Apollo or Belos) seated left on omphalos, holding arrow in right hand and bow in left. Van't Haaff Type 2.1, Subtype 1-1; Alram 431; cf. Le Rider, Suse pl. VIII, D. Minor roughness on the field, otherwise well struck. Nicely centered. Choice aEF. Toned. Extremely rare.
