ARAB-SASANIAN, Abdullah ibn Zubayr, Rival Khalif. AR Dirhem (4.14 gm; 30 mm). Obverse, sasanian bust of Khosrau II turning right name “apdwla-i zubiran amīr-i -wurrishnikān” (ʻAbdullah bin Zubayr, Commander of the Believers) in front of face, phrase "Bismillah" on the 2nd quarter, trip[le dots at 6 oclock, reverse, mint "DA" (Diarabgird) on the right, leter "P" for dependency of "Fasa" between the left attendant and fire altar, year 60 AH, dot to the left of 12 o'clock. Superb and full strike. Choice UNC. Lightly toned. Fully lustrous. Extremely rare this nice.
