Arab-Sasanian: Governor 'Ubayd Allah ibn Ziyad, AH 54-63 (AD 673-683), Silver AR Dirham (Drachm), AH63 Dated, Mint: Rayy. Obverse: Bust to right, the full name of the governor in Pahlavi legend. "bism allah", meaning in the name of God on the margin with other additional legends, Symbol above to right. Reverse: The usual Sasanian reverse with a fire alter in the centre with two attendants on both sides. (3.01gm, 31mm) Good Very Fine and Rare.
