Description
Early ARAB Conquest of Sasanian Persia, Æ (1.86 gm; 19 mm). Obverse, Shahadah, reverse, Phrase in Pahlavi "APD" (Good) followed by Kufic Shahadah for Prophet Mohamad, no mint or date, similar style were minted (without APD at top) in the areas that were captured from byzantine empire in syria and levant area. Brown patina. Choice Good VF. Extremely rare.
