SICILY, Syracuse. Circa 480 BC. AR Tetradrachm (17.36 gm; 25 mm). Quadriga with charioteer in slow walk to right Kentron in left hand, reins in right hand. Nike flying to right and crowning horses / SVR – AK – OSI – ON Head of Arethusa to right with band of pearls in hair, surrounded by four dolphins. Boehringer 66. Choice VF. Toned.
