Constantine VII Porphyrogenitus. 913-959. AV solidus (20 mm, 4.37 g, 6 h). Constantinople, 950-955. Nimbate and draped bust of Christ Pantokrator facing, holding Gospels and raising hand in benediction / Crowned facing busts of Constantine VII, on left, wearing loros, and Romanus II, on right, wearing chlamys, holding patriarchal cross between them. DOC 15; Füeg 15.C.1; SB 1751. A couple of light scratches in fields. Very fine.
