Macedonian Kingdom. Philip II. 359-336 B.C. AV stater (18 mm, 8.52 g, 12 h). Abydos, ca. 323-316 B.C. Laureate head of Apollo right / ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟΥ in exergue, Nike driving biga right; above reins, Γ; below, Ξ and cornucopiae. Thompson 86; SNG ANS 297. Well centered and good style, faint scratch on cheek. Extremely fine.
