Description
Parthian Kingdom. Artabanos I (Arsakes II). 211-185 B.C. Æ dichalkon (16 mm, 3.12 g, 11 h). Rhagai-Arsakei(?), ca.209 B.C. Head of Arsakes II left, wearing bashlyk / APΣAK[OY], eagle standing right on bucranium; in right field, horse''s head right. Sellwood -; Shore -; Sunrise -; Bellaria Collection, 760; Agora 30, 52. Extremely rare - the finest of just three known specimens. Brown patina, light porosity. Very fine.
