Postumus. Romano-Gallic Emperor, A.D. 260-269. Æ double sestertius (33 mm, 24.67 g, 6 h). Treveri, A.D. 261. IMP C M CASS LAT POSTVMVS P F AVG, radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Postumus right / [P] M TR P CO-S II P P, S C across field, emperor, in military attire, standing facing, head left, holding globe and spear. RIC 106; Mairat 185; Bastien 63. Olive-green and brown patina. Very nice for the issue with complete obverse and nearly complete reverse legends. Choice very fine.
