Nero. A.D. 54-68. Æ dupondius (28 mm, 13.1 g, 7 h). Lugdunum, ca. A.D. 66. IMP NERO CAESAR AVG P MAX TR P P P, laureate head of Nero right, globe at point on neck truncation / SECVRITAS AVGVSTI, S C in exergue, Securitas enthroned right, in relaxed pose with head resting on hand, holding scepter; at her feet to right, lighted altar and torch at her feet; in exergue, II. RIC 520; WCN 519; cf. BN 190 (bust); cf. BMC 345 (obv. legend). Nice green patina. Area of corrosion on reverse. Good very fine.
