Nero. A.D. 54-68. AR denarius (18 mm, 3.25 g, 6 h). Rome, ca. A.D. 64/5. NERO CAESAR AVGVSTVS, laureate head of Nero right / IVPPITER CVSTOS, Jupiter seated left, holding thunderbolt and scepter; at his feet to left, eagle standin right. RIC 53; WCN 57; BMC 74; RSC 119. Toned. Very fine.
