JULIA MAMAEA, mother of Severus Alexander. Augusta, 222-235 AD. Æ Sestertius (29mm - 18.99 g). Rome mint. Struck 232 AD. IVLIA MAMAEA AVGVSTA, diademed and draped bust right / FECVNDITAS AVG[VSTAE], S-C across fields, Fecunditas standing left, extending right hand over small child with extended arms, holding cornucopia in left arm. RIC IV 668 (Severus); BMCRE 920 (Severus). VF, green patina with some earthen highlights, reverse a little rough.
