Cappadocian Kingdom. Ariarathes VI Epiphanes Philopator. Ca. 118-106 B.C. Æ (17 mm, 4.72 g, 12 h). Eusebeia. Diademed and draped bust of Ariarathes VI right, wearing tiara; behind, c/m: radiate head of Helios facing within circular incuse / [ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ Α]ΡΙΑΡΑΘΟ[Υ], Athena seated left on cuirass, holding Nike and resting elbow on shield set behind her; leaning against her far side, spear. Simonetta 5; Alram 146 (Ariarathes IV). Very rare. Nice dark green patina. Very fine.
