Commagenian Kingdom. Iotape, wife of Antiochos IV Epiphanes. A.D. 38-72. Æ (28 mm, 11.42 g, 12 h). ΒΑCΙΛΙC[CΗC ΙΟΤΑΠΕ ΦΙ]ΛΑΔΕΛ, diademed and draped bust of Iotape right; c/m: crossed cornuacopias(?) within circular incuse / ΚΟΜΜΑΓ-ΗΝΩΝ, scorpion within wreath. Cf. RPC 3853 (ΦΙΛΑΔΕΛΦΟC). Unrecorded variety with truncated legend. Dark blackish-brown patina with earthen deposits. Very fine.
