Seleukid Kingdom. Alexander I Balas. 152/1-145 B.C. Æ (19 mm, 5.37 g, 1 h). Antioch on the Orontes. Head of Alexander I right, wearing crested Corinthian helmet / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ, Nike standing left, holding wreath and palm; in outer left field, grain ear; in inner left field, AB monogram; in exergue, N. SC 1790.4d; HGC 9, 899. Attractive black and earthen patina, small area of scratches in reverse field. Choice for the issue. Good very fine.
