Seleukid Kingdom. Demetrios II Nikator. First reign, 146-138 B.C. AR drachm. Antioch on the Orontes, S.E. 168 (145/4 B.C.). Diademed head of Demetrios II right / [Β]ΑΣΙΛΕ[ΩΣ] ΔΗΜΗΤΡΙΟ[Υ] ΘΕΟΥ ΦΙΛΑ-ΔΕΛΦΟΥ ΝΙΚΑΤ-ΟΡΟΣ, Apollo seated left on omphalos, testing arrow and resting hand on grounded bow; in outer left field, star; between legs, ΧΑΡ monogram; in exergue, date (ΗΞΡ). SC 1908.4g; HGC 9, 976d. Good, sharp strike. NGC Extremely Fine.
