Ptolemaic Kingdom. Ptolemy V Epiphanes. 205-180 B.C. Æ (21 mm, 8.08 g, 12 h). Alexandria, ca. 205-201 B.C. Diademed head of Alexander the Great right, wearing elephant's skin headdress / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΠΤΟΛΕΜΑΙΟΥ, eagle, with wings spread, standing left on thunderbolt. Faucher & Lorber series 6c, 13; Svoronos 1495; SNG Copenhagen 344-6. Warm brown patina with light sandy highlights around the devices, well centered with complete legends. An attractive coin. Very fine.
