Description
ANTIQUITIES, Jalisco Effigy. An adorable Jalisco zoomorphic effigy from West Mexico, ca. 200 BC – 350 AD. This fine polychrome critter is 5” long, 3” high and is created as a dog with a turtle’s head. The body is decorated with red stripes and black spots, which blend with the extensive dendrites. Perfect. Ex Yvette Arnold collection.
