ANTIQUITIES, Chimu Jug. A fine Chimu jug from Peru, ca. 1100 – 1450 AD. It is 5-1/2” high and is decorated with mythical creatures. One side features a tumi-studded version of the Moon Dragon, the other a Supernatural bird. In excellent condition, good mineral deposits. Ex Sarmiento collection.
