ANTIQUITIES, Moche Portrait Kero. An excellent Moche portrait kero from Peru, ca. 600 – 700 AD. This Terminal period figural drinking vessel is 5-3/4” high and depicts an individual wearing a complex headdress with serpent danglers on the sides. The form and decorative design elements are showing the beginning of Huari influence during that period. In perfect condition, with strong paint and good mineral deposits. Ex Sarmiento collection.
