ANTIQUITIES, Maya Whistle Figure. A fine Maya whistle figure from the Tiquisate area of Guatemala, ca. 400 – 800 AD. It is 3-3/4” high and depicts a monkey deity in full ceremonial regalia. Nicely detailed, strong mineral deposits, functional whistle. Ex Toledo estate, Ex International Unlimited Gallery.
