ANTIQUITIES, Nicoya Female Figure. A choice Nicoya figure from Costa Rica, ca. 500 – 800 AD. This adorable Galo Polychrome female is 3-1/2” high and is posed seated with hands on the hips. She is wearing a fancy peaked cap, simple loincloth and has extensive ritual tattoos. In excellent condition, with good dendrites. Ex private East Coast collection.
