A beautiful Ghandaran stone oil lamp from the Indus Valley, c. 100 - 300 AD. This finely crafted example is 4-1/8” long and is carved from the greenish-blue chlorite characteristic of the region. The diamond-shaped vessel has four interconnected openings and is decorated with carved designs on the rim. Rare type, good mineral deposits. Ex Khan collection. Value range: $165- $300
