A pair of Egyptian steatite scarabs, the first is from the 2nd Intermediate Period, c. 1750 - 1570 BC, with cruciform device on base, 19x12mm, the second piece if from the Late Period, c. 664 - 332 BC, with amuletic cartouche of New Kingdom pharaoh Thutmose III on base, 14 x 11mm. The first with minor chip, both drilled lengthwise for suspension. Ex Royal Athena Galleries, New York. Value Range: $250 - $350.
