An excellent Chimu Marine themed bottle from Peru, c. 1100 – 1450 AD. This choice example is 8-1/2” high and is decorated with four panels depicting birds feeding on fish and birds in flight. A nicely burnished vessel with good mineral deposits and firing clouds. Value range: $450 - $550.
