An Early Vicus whistle bottle from Peru, c. 200 – 100 BC. This fine stirrup bottle is 6” high and is incised with designs more typically found on earlier Cupisnique vessels. One spout is in the form of a stylized bird head that hides the whistle. Intact, with good mineral deposits and clear tone on the whistle. Ex Caravallo collection. Value range: $575 - $800
