SELEUKID KINGS of SYRIA. Seleukos I Nikator, sole reign. 312-294 BC. AR Tetradrachm (27mm - 17.06 g). Susa mint. 305-295 BC. Head of hero right, wearing helmet covered with a panther's skin / Nike standing right placing wreath on trophy; BE left, Boeotian shield, monogram right. SC 173.1; Kritt Variety I (A1/P-, unlisted reverse die). Good VF/EF, lightly toned, choice flan. Well centered and well struck reverse. A very attractive example in hand.
