SEVERUS ALEXANDER. 222-235 AD. Æ Sestertius (32mm - 24.67 g). Rome mint. Struck 231 AD. IMP SEV ALE-XANDER AVG, laureate bust right, slight drapery on left shoulder / ANNONA AVGVSTI, S-C across fields, Annona standing left, holding grain ears in right hand, anchor in left; modius at her feet left. RIC IV 549; BMCRE 678; Cohen 36. VF, brown patina, some green deposits on the obverse and some rubbing on the reverse revealing some bare metal.
